These were the Seminar Sessions 2026

June 23, 2026

FACE PRO

Once again, we were thrilled to welcome so many industry peers, partners, and friends to our annual Seminar Sessions.
These were the Seminar Sessions 2026

This year’s keynote speakers featured a stellar roster of industry pioneers and experts, including Luc Peumans (Painting With Light), Pieter Doms, Kristof Blancquaert, Peter Claes (Masterclaes), Sarah Cox, renowned sound engineers Erik Loots, Wim De Backer, Thomas Coene, Pita Tanghe, and Koen Simons and many more. Our speakers generously pulled back the curtain on their careers, sharing their stories and insights.

Our experts brought some inspiring case-studies to the stage:

  • Luc Peumans gave a fascinating glimpse into how his team crafted the show design magic for the K3 Originals shows.
  • Pieter Doms shared his expertise on navigating the complex sound installation inside one of the world's most challenging venues: the Las Vegas Sphere.
  • Peter Claes challenged traditional workflows in his session on analog thinking in a digital world, later joining our CEO Karel De Piere and sound engineer Erik Loots for a panel discussion on "Shaping Sound in 3D: Beyond Vertical Arrays."
  • Kristof Blancquaert took us "Around the World in 100 Cues," detailing the challenges lighting designers and programmers face during large-scale global shows.
  • Pita Tanghe and Koen Simons dove deep into RF Management, drawing on real-world examples from major wireless audio deployments.

Empowering system integrators & installers

This year, we took things a step further. We created a dedicated program designed specifically for system integrators, electro-installers, and architects. We wanted to send a clear message: while FACE no longer carry out installations ourselves, we are fully committed to supporting installers with the right product portfolio and collaborative brainstorming to find the best solutions for their projects.

  • SGM Lighting & architectural control: Since the CUE vakbeurs in January, SGM has officially joined the FACE Lighting portfolio, a strategic step in expanding our integration market. Gé Hulsmans hosted the highlighted session “Shades of White,” exploring white light, color accuracy, and creative control.
  • Audio & intelligent DSP: For our audio-focused visitors, we highlighted Electro-Voice’s sleek LRC speakers and explored their diverse applications. Meanwhile, Dynacord hosted a session on how a smarter approach to DSP and amplification simplifies system design, reduces integration effort, and delivers predictable results across install projects. Powersoft also showcased their installation ecosystem, featuring a live demonstration of the market's smallest PoE amplifier.
  • The modern workplace: Naturally, Shure was a cornerstone of our installation track. We welcomed Gigi Petit from Shure Benelux, who gave an insightful 60-minute overview of modern conferencing trends. She demonstrated how AI integrations in Microsoft Teams are shaping the future of collaboration, and why high-quality audio is non-negotiable for inclusive meeting experiences.

The exhibition floor at Den Oven

As is tradition, we transformed Den Oven into a dynamic exhibition space to showcase the latest industry innovations:

  • Ayrton’s fixtures took center stage, showcasing the Ultimate Series, recently released Rawbeam 350, MagicDot Neo, Kyalami and more..
  • Audio Hub: Tucked beautifully under the stairway area, you could find the Evolve and Everse series from Electro-Voice, Martin Audio brought the CDD series and more, and Yamaha featured the DM7. Shure set up a dedicated Pro Audio stand, alongside a custom podcaststand featuring their most iconic microphones.
  • The Starway Wall: Almost every fixture in the Starway lineup was featured, including the Lusso, Monza Wet, Enzo and Modena.
  • Wireless control & FX: New to the floor this year were LumenRadio and SGM Lighting. We welcomed Vlad Kraynov from Lumenradio and Olivier Grimmeau from Lamp & Pencil for a talk on using wireless DMX and CRMX technologies in high-stakes production environments. Olivier shared fascinating stories about handling mixed RF environments, theatrical special effects, embedded costume lighting, and wireless props at major UK venues using custom systems, Astera, and RC4.

The return of familiar faces & innovations

We were delighted to welcome back our longtime partners and steady anchors who make our Seminar Sessions so impactful every year:

  • Luminex: Kristof Nys delivered another round of inspiring sessions. In "No signal, no party," he emphasized the critical importance of reliable network setups for festivals and events, while his second session tackled FAQs on mastering LumiNodes and fixtures using Araneo Studio.
  • MA Lighting: Former FACE employee Michiel De Clercq, now representing MA Lighting, gave an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at how MA systems power the Eurovision Song Contest, while also highlighting the brand's accessibility in theatre environments.
  • FACE Innovations: Frederik Colman from Xine Robotics hosted "Motion Made Simple," sharing how networked winch systems are unlocking faster programming and greater creative freedom. Meanwhile, our friends at Explorentis, Fons De Vreede and Vincent Jacobs, introduced the brand-new Lucenti X-core platform.
  • Outdoor Demos: Step outside, and attendees had the perfect opportunity to listen to the impressive outdoor capabilities of the Martin Audio WPS speakers.
