How do Acoustic Panels Help?
Think about a busy room, or a large open space. You may find that it is difficult to hold a conversation because of distracting background noise. Sounds traveling around the room, bouncing off of hard surfaces, amplifying the noise in the space (Figure A). By treating a room with Primacoustic acoustic panels, most of that sound energy is absorbed, reducing the echo or reverb, and increasing intelligibility (Figure B).

The Perfect fit
Primacoustic acoustic panels are designed for all environments, (not just recording studios). Acoustic treatment is important for critical listening as well as creating a comfortable space for customers or employees. Controlling ambient noise in houses of worship, offices, classrooms and restaurants can be problematic and speech intelligibility is often compromised. Primacoustic acoustic panels are the best way to manage excessive noise in any space.
Wall Treatment
Wall-mounted panels provide a highly effective way to absorb sound at ear level, right where primary reflections occur. Primacoustic offers two distinct architectural wall solutions to fit both performance and aesthetic needs:
- Broadway Wall Panels
Premium, high-density glass wool panels designed for maximum broadband absorption. They come wrapped in acoustically transparent fabric with resin-hardened edges for a clean, professional finish. Available in various shapes, sizes, and paintable/printable surface options to blend into any interior design. - Slate Walls
A modern, stylish acoustic wall slat system that combines high acoustic performance with timeless timber aesthetics. Perfect for transforming flat, reflective walls into striking feature surfaces while dramatically reducing room echo and improving overall speech clarity.

Ceiling Treatment
Treating the ceiling can often lead to the best solution for acoustic sound control. This is particularly true in larger venues and in commercial installations where windows, doors and art can make hanging acoustic panels on walls impossible. Drop-down T-Bar ceilings can also present an unwanted conduit for sound transmission if left unchecked.
Primacoustic offers a wide array of acoustic ceiling panels for just about any situation: For commercial installations, horizontally suspended Broadway Clouds are ideally suited for controlling sound in restaurants, cafeterias, museums and retail spaces. For rooms with high ceilings, vertically suspended Broadway Baffles absorb energy on both sides making them ultra effective. For spaces such as offices, that employ T-Bar ceilings, ineffective fibre panels can be retrofitted with StratoTiles for improved acoustics while ThunderTiles can be used to both control acoustic sound energy and stop sound from travelling between rooms.
For larger projects, our Archadia clouds and baffles can be completely customized so they integrate perfectly into your design.
