Flexible precision in real time
A unique feature of the PK Sound line array system is its built-in motorization. Thanks to these integrated robotics, it's able to align in real time with millimetre precision. It allows artists and sound engineers to realise their vision perfectly, whilst minimising noise disturbance to the surrounding area and maximizing the festival experience. This feature proved invaluable during Parookaville. For the campsite’s opening, a considerably larger crowd gathered at the Desert Valley Stage than on the regular festival days. Thanks to the motorised control system, the sound coverage could be effortlessly adjusted in real time to accommodate the changing crowd density.

Ulf Krynojewski, sales manager at Publitec:
“With PK Sound, we were able to quickly adjust the system’s sound coverage using a motor, allowing us to respond flexibly to the changing crowd dynamics. This scalability was a crucial factor for the stage sponsorship. At the desert Valley stage we demonstrated the use of adaptive sound reinforcement systems that adapt to changing conditions at festivals.”
The impressive setup provided ending crystal-clear sound
- Main PA: 40x PK Sound T8
- Subwoofers: 30× PK Sound T218 (in cardioid configuration)
- Subwoofers: 30× PK Sound T18 (in cardioid configuration)
- Delays & Nearfills: 8 delay setups with in total 44x T10, 44x T8 systems and 4x Tx14
Effortless Setup
What sets PK Sound apart on large-scale sites is its full systemautomation. Thanks to the built-in robotics, load-in and load-out were significantly faster and smoother, ensuring maximum efficiency for the production team from start to finish, in a minimun amount of time.

This is a collaboration between: PK Sound, POOLgroup, Publitec, Clarity and Parookaville.
