New GigaCore Firmware Release v2.8.9

A new firmware version for the Luminex GigaCore is now available.

With the release of Firmware v2.8.9 Luminex brings product improvements to the GigaCore platform.

Due to component tolerances, fan speed on the GigaCore 26i, could be set at a too low level, which stopped some fans from spinning under certain conditions. This release has optimised settings for the fan controller and ensures correct speeds for all fans.
To keep firmware version numbering consistent on the entire 1G GigaCore range, models other than theGigaCore 26i also now have a v2.8.9 firmware build.We do advise users to upgrade all models and therefore ensuring consistency in FW versions as this will be indicated in the Araneo health check function.
