FACE Project Integration
MOTU’s OctaLite brings flexible connectivity to studio sessions, mobile recording and live setups. Use it as a USB audio interface, a standalone mixer or an optical expander to add inputs to an existing recording system.
Eight inputs for your next session
Eight combo XLR/TRS inputs accommodate microphones, line-level sources and guitars. Each microphone input offers individual gain control and 48V phantom power, with up to 74 dB of preamp gain.
USB recording supports sample rates up to 192 kHz. Two balanced analogue outputs and a dedicated headphone output provide connections for monitoring, while the front-panel OLED display keeps levels visible.
Monitor with onboard mixing and effects
The built-in DSP mixer lets you create separate headphone and monitor mixes, with reverb, four-band parametric EQ and dynamics processing available onboard. Control mixing and settings through MOTU’s CueMix 5 app.
Loopback functionality also supports capturing computer audio for streaming and podcasting.
Expand your existing setup
The OctaLite can add eight mic/line/instrument inputs to a MOTU UltraLite-mk5 or another compatible optical-equipped interface. Eight-channel optical expansion is supported up to 96 kHz, using the additional SMUX output at higher sample rates.
Its steel enclosure fits into a compact recording setup or an equipment rack. Optional mounting kits allow installation as a single unit or alongside an UltraLite-mk5 or a second OctaLite in one rack space.
