The Vinci data-over-power technology
Lucenti has developed a proprietary Data-over-Power (powerline communication) technology that enables lamp control without the need for additional data wiring. By transmitting data over the existing power lines, this solution allows you to upgrade to smart lighting using your current electrical infrastructure.
Our data-over power protocol can send 1 dmx universe at a framerate of 25Hz
- No additional data cables, Uses existing wiring Control lighting directly over standard power lines.
- Ideal for retrofits and renovations—no need to open walls.
- DMX compatible
- Supports one full DMX universe at 25Hz for smooth, dynamic lighting.
- Fast & cost-efficient setup
- Save time and reduce installation costs.
The PixlBus technology
PixlBus is our proprietary two-way protocol for pixel and creative lighting. It is built for fast setup, reliable performance, and real-time monitoring, even during live shows.
Plug-and-play setup
Auto-discovery and mapping of all connected devices with just one button click, reducing installation time dramatically.
Power + Data in one cable
Proprietary 4-pin cable delivers both power and data, simplifying wiring and reducing clutter.
High-speed communication:
Sends pixel data at high framerates for smooth, responsive lighting effects.
Perfect synchronization
Ensures all pixels stay in sync across all ports, across all controllers.
Scalable system capacity
PixlDrive1: Supports up to 400 RGBW pixels / 200W
PixlDrive8 Pro: Supports up to 3200 RGBW pixels / 1600W
KLSTR.
KLSTR began with a vision: to completely rethink how to connect and control lighting fixtures in the future. We envisioned a system where technicians simply connect fixtures, assign fixture IDs, and start controlling them immediately, with no need for further configuration. A system that pinpoints the exact location of a fault, like a broken cable, while keeping all devices online. One where the fixture personality is stored inside the fixture itself, so any console can instantly control it. A system with real-time feedback, ready for what’s next.
To make this vision a reality, we stepped back and redesigned the workflow from scratch, free from the limitations of existing technologies and protocols. The first major challenge was to read and visualize the full cable topology of any setup, a key feature to enable lightning-fast deployment without needing physical access to each fixture. But extracting cable topology is impossible with current DMX or Ethernet-based fixtures. This required a new hardware approach. From that point on, the path was clear, and KLSTR was born.
KLSTR is a manufacturer-independent hardware platform, built by and for professionals in the lighting industry. By adding a small hardware component inside each fixture, we unlock a powerful new way of working. KLSTR.nano supports DMX-based fixtures, while KLSTR.one is made for ethernet-based ones, both offering the same streamlined workflow and benefits.
With this innovative hardware approach, KLSTR visualizes the entire cable topology, drastically reducing setup time. We’ve also added true redundancy: in case of a cable failure, the system keeps running without interruption, while the app shows exactly where the issue lies. And with full GDTF/MVR integration, missing fixture profiles are a thing of the past. KLSTR is a true game changer for both DMX and ethernet-based lighting systems.
