The U Series offers six models with versatile power ratings to meet different installation needs:

• Four mixer amplifiers with 30, 60, 120, and 240 watts
• Two power amplifiers with 120 and 240 watts

The mixer amplifier models feature front-panel access for main gain, channel levels, and tone adjustments. Each unit provides two mic/line inputs and two aux inputs, supporting a variety of sources such as microphones, paging stations, or music players. Additional features include phantom power for mic inputs, a 120 Hz switchable high-pass filter, an emergency override input for PA/VA integration, chime functionality, and VOX ducking. Configuration is simple via rear DIP switches, and a contact closure port allows for remote power on/off.

The power amplifier models are designed with a “set and forget” principle, with all controls located at the rear to prevent unintended adjustments—making them a reliable choice as auxiliary amplifiers in larger installations or for newly created zones.

Easy Installation in Any Space

Thanks to their ultra-compact design, U Series amplifiers occupy just one rack unit in height and half a rack width, enabling flexible mounting options. They can be installed in racks, placed on tabletops, or mounted discreetly under counters using the included brackets. Two units can also be rack-mounted side by side in a single rack space, efficiently doubling output power while minimizing footprint.

Like all Dynacord electronics, the U Series is developed under strict quality standards and undergoes extensive testing at the Dynacord Reliability Test Center (RTC) in Straubing, Germany. Each unit is tested under extreme thermal, mechanical, and electrical stress to ensure flawless operation under demanding conditions. Built-in safeguards include overload and short-circuit protection as well as a limiter to prevent accidental overdriving.
