Araneo Studio is built as a scalable platform, with the new release Luminex brings features such as lighting fixture control and testing, UI improvements and bug fixes.
Please note: LumiNode/LumiCore firmware v2.8.1 is required for most of these new features.
New Features
Fixture controle and test
Take direct control of fixture attributes for faster and more efficient testing.
- Perform quick Address, Intensity, Pan/Tilt, CMY, RGB, Color wheel, Gobo wheel tests.
- This feature significantly reduces setup time and simplifies on-site validation.
MVR / GDTF Import Support
Easily import standardized fixture data via MVR and GDTF files or libraries.

Expanded LumiNode & LumiCore Device settings
- Button to identify a LumiNode.
- Support for setting device colors.
UI Improvements
- Tooltip support for abbreviated port settings.
- Dock/undock panes function was added to improve workflows when using multiple monitors.
Bug Fixes
- Resolved an issue in Process Engines where the sACN output priority defaulted incorrectly; it is now set to 100 by default.
