Crazy Tube Circuits Rapture: the Triptychon drive sound in a standalone pedal
FACE for professionals
FACE for MI Resellers
FACE Project Integration
Designed around the feel of a tube amplifier at the edge of breakup, Rapture moves from subtle clean enhancement to mild overdrive. Its touch-sensitive response lets your picking shape the sound: play softly for a more open feel, or dig in for added compression and grit.
An always-on foundation for your sound
Rapture is designed to complement the character of your guitar, pickups and amplifier. At lower gain settings, it adds harmonic richness and subtle compression. Turn up the Drive control for a more pushed, amplifier-like response.
It can serve as an always-on foundation or work alongside fuzz, boost and other overdrive pedals. Separate Tone and Master controls let you adjust the tonal balance and output level, including pushing the next gain stage harder.
Two switches, more ways to shape your drive
The MORE and MOD switches expand on the original Triptychon circuit.
MORE extends the available drive, interacting with both the Drive control and the MOD setting. MOD changes the clipping behaviour, with its modified setting reducing clipping for a more open response.
Together, these controls offer variations in compression, headroom and playing feel. Set both switches to their down positions to return to the original Triptychon drive circuit and sound.
Hand-built in Athens
Rapture comes in an Eden Gold die-cast enclosure and is designed and hand-built in Athens, Greece. A soft-click footswitch operates relay-based true bypass, and the pedal starts in bypass when powered on.
